So I'm saying this first because this is what I consider to be the most important but if you are at all implying I might be so pedantic and boring that I would suggest someone's first movie night experience should EVER be The Breakfast Club then I'm offended. Appalled really.
Going back to the rest of it, sounds like it's a toss up as to whether investigating is or isn't a good idea, but we're going along with it anyway because who knows if we're dead or dreaming or just in some other fucked up Upside Down but the only way to go is forward. Wouldn't you roll a dice or something like that if you were playing Dungeons and Dragons? That's about all I know about it, there's dice involved. And wizards. The dungeons and dragons go without saying.
I'm all for bringing weapons but I don't know if I have anything easily concealed I can whip out in a pinch. Maybe a knife? Can probably loot some of those from the grocery place if we go at the right time.
Also it's a very rare circumstance that I can stop myself and I've discovered that this is also the case when writing stuff out on a small mobile phone so I think I've reached a certain point of hopelessness. At least calling someone doesn't take as much time as typing all of this out.
